Quit it as soon as there was a bad cgi talking ape.
Is there much more of this ape and thus worth sticking with or should I abandon ship?

It's a blatant X-men ripoff, but the first season was pretty good. I was never able to get into the 2nd season and abandoned it already.
What happened to the American Dream? It came true! You're lookin' at it…

Yeah I got the impression is was an X-Men type of thing. I was told it's crazy like
Doom Patrol
so I decided to give it a try. I just hated the sight of that ape within nanoseconds and bailed. But if that ape is only in it for a minutes I can at least finish the season.

What? That filthy ape is like a father to them, the only one they have ever known. He gets killed by one of the kids who goes nuts ala dark phoenix later in the season. Now you've made me spoil the "shocking moment" and ruined the whole thing. Good work.
