Bugonia is a 2025 black comedy film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and written by Will Tracy.
Wtf? The only thing funny was the ending, but I'm not sure that was intentional. -

It also contained a lot of dry-deadpan comedy. This movie is just awesome. For me, the parts where the guys go after her and inject her and she drops to the ground was hilarious. But the scene that made it for me was when she had her heair shaven; then when she was already sedated just lying there and the guys start rubbing the cream on her. There's no way I would not have laughed if I were one of those actors doing that scene. Anyway, watch it after 10 more years. A lot of the times the perception of viewing movies truly change as one gets older. Speaking from experience.
