Started out convincing. Loved the first one. It was real. But this one finally exposed it's fiction about half way through. It was far too well written for the "characters" in this movie. And you don't just screw the Godmother (literally) cause you write her in prison. It's like a rapper without using the word "like" in every other lyric, or not having (featuring) credited on every other song listed. Meaning it's bulls**t. I can't believe the original director agreed to this urban disaster. Blanco and crew could have sprayed all of California's degenerate neighborhoods before they even knew who Scarface was.

Tell me about it! Has anyone corroborated this guy's story? About halfway through, he starts telling his "story" with so much detail you get the impression he's padding the story as he's going along. Really? She didn't kill him for "triflin'" behind her back? She has killed for a lot less.

Totally agree. The 2 parts that made it clear was the story Crosby told about sleeping with the same chick that was having phone sex with the hit man. Total BS. The second was the ending. When Crosby and his golden grilled underling are greeting other dealers, flashing guns, talking about how they only hang with "real" people. It was like a really bad music video.

From my couch I sense two parts that seem embellished.

              1. When Charles says he stood up to Griselda in the jail.
              2. When he says he banged the DA secretary.
Other than that, it's clear that Charles was a real player.
It's clear that Charles had an intimate relationship with Griselda. He's got the photos to prove it and Rivi's scorn appears to corroborate Charles' closeness to Griselda.
We might nitpick some details, but at it's core, he lived this saga and I enjoyed hearing him retell it.

Banging a grossly overweight and unattractive woman with discharge caked around her axe wound while wearing gaudy clothing is a rapper's wet dream indeed.
