I've just watched the first episode of this series and it just seemed to be laughable, particularly the train crash, it was was so low budget that it was a joke! The commuter train accident was a bit of shaky camera work, then cut to a couple of old coaches in what was quite obviously some railway sidings, the rolling stock had not moved since privatization! A load of extras wandering around dressed as paramedics, police, firemen , etc.and some third rate British TV actors pretending to be police detectives looking very earnest and chatting as if they were at a cocktail party.
The story involved 16 passengers dead and hundreds of injured commuters on two coaches, talk about overcrowding! Where were the TV, the reporters?, this would have been a national incident, it even involved the Old Baily but it was played so low key that you thought they were talking about a parking fine.

Lol! Exactly what I thought, looked like that train through the middle of a busy street. Pathetic.

well big budget does not always mean quality production,American shows have bigger budgets and look better but the thing is meant to be about the case not the production values.
Watching shows from other places can be entertaining and educational(even if they are adapted from another show)but you can go around the world and see lots of American shows but British shows in America seem to upset some people.
I am British and we have some bad actors but we also have some great ones,America seems to be full of British actors at the moment.
