Obvious rip-offs? Oh hell yes. Not every movie they put out is a rip-off by any stretch of the imagination, but its pretty simple to see where their main source of income is derived from. Thats not the reason why I love Asylum however. I love the fact that they do absolutely nothing to hide the fact that these films are knock-offs of Hollywood fare. They simply do not give a beep Anybody with half a brain can see what they are up to, yet these films fly off of video store shelves because people want to see just how BAD they steal from their mainstream counterpartspure genius!

It's because of this, why would big multi-billion dollar studios care when they are basically after the people who illegally put their films on the internet. They can do it because it's not a real ripoff.
