Yeah, i had a few ideas for a movie, 1st was about a baby sent to earth from a dying planet by his parents and as he grows up he finds he has superpowers, i thought i'd call it Superguy or something.
The other was about about a captain in the US Army in the vietnam war who is sent up river to assasinate a colonel who has gone insane. Apocalypse soon.
He he he

wouldnt be so bad if it didnt cut out all the time and they shot more of surrounding etc.. and how big was the monster it seemed to be every where
also .a city of 12 million and yet half the time theres no one around
best part of the movie was the clevage shots haha
and when she gets wooped round the head by it near the end -

That's all The Asylum does. If you don't want/like their knock offs, don't watch them. No one's tying you to a chair and forcing you to watch them (that I know of, because then they must have untied you to type your post).

i didn't mind it was a ripoff/knockoff film
i even expected to maybe find out Monster was the Japanese original and Cloverfield was the American rip-off kinda like The Ring and Ringu
side note: personally i preferred The Ring to Ringu, even found it scarier usually it's the other way around, the American version is usually a pale copycat of the original
but, since it comes from The Asylum, i see Monster has to be the copycat
but damn i expected at least a good knockoff this thing sucks
i'm thinkin, ok, maybe Monster really was the original and somebody slapped their forehead and said "damn, what a piece of beep me and my 3-year-old cousin could do better than that" and that's how we got Cloverfield
just speculating here
sorry, my thoughts here are all jumbled, pointless movies do that to me i stopped the movie in the middle and had to jump online to ask the question "which came first, Monster or Cloverfield?"
now i realize from this thread and the other questions it don't matter it don't matter which came first, 'cause one is superior and the other is inferiocity squared
please, someone give me a handheld, a million bucks, and two hot babes and access to some kickass cgi i'll make you a hot-damn Blair Monster Project complete with net buzz
now i gotta go back and finish watching the damn movie sigh
