Way to many things happened for him to be so defiant about her just being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Just lost a kid and wife is fragile, a young deaf daughter and son who hates her. And he actin like she been in the family already 20 years. He would be super pretecttive of his family. She said she acts different around him? Huh? She ratted on him flirting with lady. He would be pissed at that.
