Perhaps the window has a special weight mechanism in it and whatever was stolen from there was the exact weight of a can of tomato soup made by Heinz Ricky
To test that theory out you'd need to find the exact weight of the Donald Duck you like (Is it worth £55? I'm rubbish at these things) and quickly switcheroo the two and if no alarms go off you could easily just walk out the shop and nobody would be any the wiser
Obviously return it and tell them that their elaborate window security system is broken and you can prove it and that you are not a thief.
Have bobby film you do it too in case it turns sour before you can return it. Perhaps they have a better system overall and that soup can is one part of a much more sophisticated way of bypassing it

I’m not sure if that Donald is worth that or not to be honest. It is a vintage 1970s Donald Duck, the tag says. The shop must be proud of him to have him as part of their window display. I imagine it isn’t a bad price for it as nothing in there seemed particularly overpriced to me. Some of these types of shops just over price things horrendously!
Maybe it’s not a security system but the original can of soup that Andy Warthog copied off when he did his tomato soup drawing.

It
could be
that can of soup Ricky
I mean it's the wrong flavour, has a ring pull and is Heinz instead of Campbells but it
could be
that can
These arty types always try to do some shenanigans with their works He might have gone forward in a timeslip, picked up a modern can and then went back and tried to cover it all up by obfuscating it

Well as Bobby and I now know…time travel is very real and is a part of our world and it’s as natural as the air that we breathe.
I bet you’re looking forward to our pictures from the Victorian era.

I'm very much looking forward to the picture from the Victorian era Ricky
It must be quite the sight, was the industrial fog too much or did you slip in during a good day?

It was quite a clear day with no fog. However it WAS dark and strangely there appeared to be a ceiling above us!
The smell was very unusual too. It smelled like incense that’s going for a poo smell. It was a very similar smell to the one in Viking times when we visited there on our time travel ride. Maybe the olden days just had that sort of smell. Some don’t like it but I don’t think it’s that unpleasant.

That does sound unusual Ricky but I'm sure there would be a good reason for it all
Perhaps when I see the pictures I can try to determine why there was a ceiling and what that odd smell could have been

Going back to that Golly display at the small museum in the upstairs of the Blackpool collectibles shop…it is worth pointing out that several years ago when Bobby visited with a friend, the man there noticed them looking at it and asked Bobby and his friend if they liked the Golly stuff and that it was his own personal collection. He seemed very proud of it. He said that some people don’t like it these days and how it’s a shame and that he sees no harm in it as it is of a time. He was a nice well spoken gentleman.
I bet that he was pressured by the public to remove it. -

Some people just really hate marmalade and jam Ricky
That's why they had to invent the "Conserve" and "Curd" to keep themselves afloat while those haters were attacking their other products.
Nutella and peanut butter are next. That's why everyone's got anaphylactic shock and allergies now. They want to remove all spreads.
Check out what Topsy's did with their Best Butter!
