Is it even an actual song or was it just made for the trailer?

Sounds like the theme song from To Live and Die in LA

It's not the same as the one in the trailer but still a great track.
        Thanks for the reply.

The song sounds to me, like 'library music'.
Library music was just general music in popular genres, written specifically to be sold for use in advertising, lower-budget tv productions, etc makes sense that a library track might be used in a B-movie trailer.
KPM records, Bruton, DeWolfe These were the labels, and artists like Keith Mansfield, Alan Hawkshaw, etc.. they'd compose poppy, jazzy, easy listening albums Back in the 70's and 80's they also did a lot of great, dated synthesizer-style music.
          Here's a couple examples:
If you're into that style of music hey, there's a lot of it out there.
Sometimes fires don't go out when you're done playin' with them.

I figured this might be one of those used-for-trailers-only songs but I took a chance on this being a real song.
I think you're correct about this piece being library music. It's probably just something random they used for the trailer.
            Thanks for the reply.
