Spent an entire season setting up Battle of the Gods Eye only to not-deliver it, instead setting it up to climax in season 3, which will take place in a single day. Oh well, I guess 2 years isn't too long to wait for what should have happened in this finale, by right.
Hellaenas prophecies have always come true in the very episode she made them, but I guess they bucked established tradition when they had her deliver this one directly to Aemond with perfect clarity, leaving no doubt about everything that will happen, exactly as it does in the book.
I'm so disappointed.

I doubt anyone has ever read the whole book. It's garbage, a hard boring read, like a history book without any interesting details. This episode should have been last weeks episode, with the actual battle happening now, not 2 years from now. What a bunch of ****ing idiots.

I tried. I really did. But I just couldn't.
I've really enjoyed the show, though. It's better than GOT in many ways. Up until they ****ed everyone around tonight. Now they can burn in hell forever afaic.

It's a weird book. 'Brother Sebastian writes that Lady Joan dies in her sleep. But Lord Strong, who knew her best, writes that she killed herself out of heartache'.
Okay….. so she killed herself. (And what do I care??).
I just saw the first episode of this season. I wasn't jazzed. To each his own.
