5 years ago i learned that I am slightly allergic to wasps, learning that the hard way.
I was reading a book and drinking a beer outside in the summer, as is my wont, and after setting the beer down for a minute, when I lifted it up to take another swig, there was something not-beery in my mouth
I spat it out and the wasp that had climbed into the beer bottle was on the ground before me. I suddenly realized that it had stung the inside of my bottom lip as it went out. My bottom lip swelled up, but nothing more serious happened. One and only time I have been stung.
To paraphrase Oedipus, Hamlet, Lear, and all those guys, "I wish I had known this some time ago. -

I was initially kinda concerned because no joke I had an uncle who it happened to as well and it was a more serious situation.the wasps, they like dem beers too.

I'll never build up a tolerance to bitches. Or bastards. I work in a floral shop, so I literally have to stop and smell the roses. I'm hoping one day I can do a shift without sneezing and blowing my eyeballs out.

I did one of those allergy tests where you take your shirt off and they scratch you with a bunch of needles to see what you react to. As I recall, the chick said, "Whoa!" So I'm apparently allergic to everything. Or just have sensitive mayo skin. The only thing I've ever really reacted to in life though is a slight lactose intolerance. It was bad as a baby and I couldn't have any milk at all but now I love all things dairy and eat it anyway (though I've never drank milk). Sometimes I'll break out in hives and throw up but that rare occurrence is worth rolling the dice.
TL;DR: lactose maybe?

I did the same test, after!! It was cool in a kind of scratchy, annoying way
Besides the wasps, for me it was cats, dogs, willow, beech, and o yes Mange.

It was kind of embarrassing. She went and got another chick to come look. Weirdest 3some ever. Anyway, they gave me the sheet where they check off whatever you reacted to and make comments and it was like getting an English paper back from a bitchy teacher. All red and scribbe scrabble. I just assume I'm going to die of air soon so I'm enjoying every day like it's my last.
