One thing I hate about the leaks (spoilers)

is that the focus is not on Dany vs Cercei/Euron in the south. They basically have a couple of smaller battles in the earlier episodes and then they to go back north again to capture a single white walker. Doesn't sound like an exciting climax especially when everyone expected to see Dany's invasion of Kings Landing and Cercei going mad. Now Euron and Cercei retreat and let the rest do the dirty work for them.

Yeah the other stupid part is that they go north to prove the threat is real to dany, she then sees what happens, jon then apparently says shes can have the north if she helps them, but shes just seen the army of the dead so surely she would help anyway since if they defeat the north they will come south anyway.. doesnt make sense for jon to just give it up when she has no choice but to help
Then theres arya who apparently pretends to be walder.. like how does that work, she is not the same size as him, everyone would be wondering why the hell hes the size of a small girl -

Jon Snow doesn't want to be king. He is written to appeal to that other part of the audience who thinks that a people can rule itself.
Vengeful scum flocks to Daenerys, naive fools go to Jon.

Literally every single time someone has switched faces their bodies have grown or shrunk.
The body Arya inhabited when she offed Frey should have thunder struck everyone.

Most assumed that Dany would kill Cersei and then everyone would happily gather to fight the WWs in season 8. Thank god that isn't happening. It would have been terrible. There is no conflict unless Dany has to decide between taking the crown and heading north, which is what the writers are doing.
And Cersei is not another third-rate villain for Dany to kill.
Confess.

I'm convinced now that the season 8 war will be resolved in King's Landing. So Cersei will have a role there, which could give us some real conflict. It won't all be happiness.
It means there could be human drama too, like in Blackwater.
Wildfire was hinted to be the ultimate weapon against wights/walkers in Bran's visions in 606.
Confess.

Yeah the final battle will take place at KL, with Jon leading a last stand against the White Walkers, while Cersei will be the wild card amongst it all. She will probably try and take everyone down, both man and white walker alike, with a gigantic wildfire explosion. It's going to be crazy.
Una!
