      I actually went with a group of friends and most of em weren't fans. They thought it was manipulative and nonsensical. Maybe it's just totally on my wavelength. I didn't have an issue with the last line, made sense in context.

        I imagine it's not a film that non-cinephiles would enjoy. Judging by my theater, it definitely seems it's attracting the wrong audience. For example, there was a family next to me who brought their 6 or 7 year-old son, and his mom practically had to explain every scene to him. It was actually really obnoxious, trying to enjoy a film with little exposition while I'm getting insane amounts of it whispered in my right ear.
