I've seen a number of interpretations as to the meaning of Miri's prophecy. below is mine. what's yours?
the prophecy
When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before"
The womb in the prophecy may refer to the Womb of the World. if so it may foretell Dany returning to the Dothraki and uniting the Khalassars who would be the living child bringing back Drogo's power. if so much of this happened in season 6.

Jesus, dude. I'm shocked you made it past another Christmas considering your advanced age.
Congratulations!
I hope you survive well into the new year as well, at least until March or April.

That's rough, what kind of infection? Did all your family who died so late also live in Florida? They put something in the water there that gives it an odd taste, I can't even stand a fountain drink there. Maybe that dude Ponce the Lion actually did find the fountain of youth and let the Florida water works tap into it for a fat royalty check.
You still working at the university? I'm going to be in your area soon and was thinking of checking out that red tower you posted about a couple years ago.

it was an e cola infection. my grandfather lived in Ohio. the others lived in Ohio until they retired and then moved to Florida. I retired last Aug. I'm not sure what tower you are referring to.

I think in Miri's case the prophecy only makes sense if it can be linked to Daenerys or if there is a direct way of Daenerys to know almost in real time that something has happened
let's break it:
When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east
I'd say that's Quentyn Martell's fate. he was born in Dorne (west) and dies in Meereen (east) and his death is directly connected to Daenerys as he is killed by her dragons.
When the seas go dry
since the dream where a Grey wave clashes Winterfell's walls House Greyjoy is connected to prophecies. So I guess it may be about Euron Greyjoy getting defeated by Daenerys, again connecting the events to the target of the prophecy.
Mountains blow in the wind like leaves
tough call, to me it's either Gregor Clegane finally bitting the dust during a Targaryen X Lannister War or the fall of the Wall forcing Danny to fight the WW.
When your womb quickens again and you bear a living child
to me this part has to be literal. its mentions her womb and a living child. Dragon eggs are not living children, and her womb is not a pyre, it's her womb.
Then he will return, and not before
since the initial question was when would Khal Drogo return, this answer can mean she will name her kid Drogo or somehow Drogo will reincarnate in her son or dragon. I'm just hoping the show doesn't reset to the beggining by having Bran opening his eyes after falling from the tower in Winterfell with all the knowledge he has gained.
