Why did she act like a 7 year old?
Did Bryan drop her when she a baby? This might explain Lenore's hostility to him.
Did she have a mental disability of some kind?
Did she suffer some kind of accident, giving her brain damage?
Was she a 7 year old in the original script?

Totally agree. The way she ran was really annoying. She looked like an idiot.
