Had Jim Parsons not left "The Big Bang Theory," would Sheldon be dealing w/COVID

Suppose he threw in the towel after one more season. That would've been a more interesting way to end the series, by having Sheldon distance himself from everyone. Perfect timing, since the end of the 13th season would've coincided with the start of the pandemic, thus no need for masks or production shut down, because that season would've been successfully completed just in time for social distancing upon hiatus. Missed opportunity, which we can't blame Jim for, since he's not a psychic. But imagine the publicity if TBBT ended in 2020:
The most vital character is a germaphobe.
The series finale could've been the 300th episode instead of 279th, in the event that COVID caused that season to end prematurely at 21 episodes instead of 24.
The series would've been on the air during three decades ('00, '10, and '20).
On top of that, the headlines would be out of this world – "It all ENDED with a big bang!" On another note, I'm a little disappointed that Amy never said "That's my spot" during coitus. Another missed opportunity, but a great series nonetheless.
