Don's affairs, and Pete's too, move the story forward. Joan and Roger's affair seems like it's there just to be there, and is very soapy and just dull. I fast-forward through it now.

yea, I actually hated it. He is just so ****ing old, boring, and stupid. and she is so hot, young, and sassy. Another dynamic that pissed me off is how they slutted around but yet she still rejected so many better suitors. She liked the corruption of the old fart.
