Season 6 (originally my least favorite) is now my all-time favorite. Really benefits from being able to binge watch the episodes and follow the story arc more closely.
But I love them all, of course.

S4, with S5 being so close to it.
It reinvigorated the show by changing the working location, the writing got even stronger and gave us some of the best episodes of the show.

2. The rift between Betty and Don was for me the most dramatic and interesting storyline of the whole show. I was totally riveted. And Bobbie Barrett made it all a bit more interesting. Peggy finally telling Pete about their child is gripping too. I feel like this year the show really focused on its main dramatic points without getting too high-concept or full of itself like it did in later years. No wondering what the big deeper meaning is, just a raw, interesting story.
