Roberts mentions that Lucas will be paying Trupo off after the drugs are found in the back of Lucas' car but we never actually see Lucas bribing Trupo or making arrangements to do so.
Trupo just drives off after Lucas threatens to blow up his house.
So did Lucas pay off Trupo?
