Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK

Its just that the dvd hasn't actually been out in the UK for that long so I don't know if many copies have been manufactured.
I want to pick up the dvd anyway so wondered if I should buy it now rather than later to avoid disapointment or high price tags.

The Tartan DVD does seem to have become rare.
It's not on ebay and it's not on HMV.
The DVD is going for stupid prices on Play.com's Playtrade and Amazon UK's Martketplace.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get for a region 1 player? If not a torrent would be great. Sucks that his 'different' film is the one not to be released stateside.

Anyone really into film and especially Asian films should have a region-free player. Just search and you'll find several places selling all sorts of them

If you're stuck with a region 2 DVD player why not invest in a Japanese copy? That said, if you live near an outlet such as Richersounds they should be able to sell you a bog standard region-free DVD player for about the same price (25 to 30) you'd pay for the Japanese DVD. I was about to check the Richersounds website for you but it appears to be mommentarily down 😞

It seems to be available at Amazon.co.uk again if anyone is still trying to find a region 2 copy.

I recorded mine off Channel 4 (UK) a couple of months back. Total cost 0.00, copied over my old VHS of "A Night To Remember".
