relatability!
I liked Cyborg but I felt there were no characters you could relate to quicklyand so most of the film is a surreal fantasy piece - interesting and funny and weird and abstractbut very detached. Only after the thief transfers her Sympathy to himself does it actually become emotional.
The nearest US film imho is Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind and pretty much from the start we have an everyman character placed in a weird situation and so the relatability is high
Overall - Cyborg was good but not great -

Disagreed. I found both characters empathetic. Just because their crazy doesn't take away their humanity. She was searching for her purpose as we all do. He was confused as to why he did things that he didn't want to do, something we all do as well. Both very relatable character traits so for me it wasn't really a detached film, it just takes some aquaitance I think.
