Is every body who gave this a good review joking of are they completely ignorant.This movie was terrible.The most unrealistic movie I have ever seenskinheads..nice ones? oh yaaaaaa one of the skinheads in the group is black.Turned this movie off jesus was it awful

This film is set very shortly after the very popular "two tone" music scene of the late 70s and very early 80s, which saw many popular bands leading a kind of ska revivial, and these bands were a mixture of black and white. Many of the followers of these bands are exactly the kinds of kids who 2 or 3 years later could have part of the "nicer"/"normal" skinhead movement, as shown by Woody's gang (as opposed to the more sinister variant that Cambo was part of). -

sorry, i know this post is old, but i just had to weigh in. whilst you may have never met any nice skinheads, i know loads, in fact i happen to be a very nice one. people are good and people are bad, being a skin has nothing to do with it. however the movie is very realistic if you grew up in england in the 80s. as for black skinheads. the movement was a mixture of jamaican and uk working class culture. the high cut trousers for example were influenced by desmond dekker the reggae singer, and many original skins were black.if you turned it off, then surely your appraisal is not really a valid one.
