at first, it was supposed to be Saul who shows up and cleans up Janes death scene, but Bob OdenKOIK was busy filming his scenes for HIMYM at the time so they planned to use Mike as a throw away one time character, just one of Sauls many random fixers, but they liked him so much he became part of the cast. This is also why Mike wears sunglasses in that scene but never again after, because they figured it would make him look more shady as a shady fixer should look ( no pun intended )
