      Probably.
      Why?

Because if it was as I suspected (and it is), I just thought it was a noteworthy tidbit. Nothing more to it really.
Anyway, thanks to all who confirmed.

          Fair enough.

          No worries.

Given that there has been a Christmas episode every year since 2005, and this is the first time there haven't been any episodes between the most recent Christmas and the upcoming one, the answer is clearly Yes.
Unless you count the Doctor and the TARDIS featuring in episode one of Class.
I'm optimistic - I think the show needed a break.
So this is permanence, love's shattered pride.
What once was innocence, turned on its side.

It is, and honestly it was easier than I expected but I think that's because I enjoyed Series 9 so much that I was fine with letting them be the main focus for a while.

Yeah? I thought season 9 was the most forgettable one since 2005 and had no desire to rewatch a single episode. Great that you liked it though.
