I agree with them and think that they make some very valid points which I have thought myself.

I'm still listening to this in the background but I think that Jesse Genders (Or something similar) is the tranny I was talking about when I said someone who is a huge fan and has a YouTube channel about it.
They do a decent breakdown and manage to bring the whole transsexual part into their breakdowns in an easy to understand way (Even if you sometimes disagree with them).
They also like Star Trek and wear a TNG uniform in some of their thumbnails.
I'm about a third of the way through this Council of Geeks video. I'll get back to you on it

I’ve seen Jessie Gender about too, their reviews are good. I was watching their Dot and Bubble review just last night.

Yes let me know what you think. I think that the video highlights to me what is feeling ‘off’ about this particular series.

Well…
I'm not sure if it needs more episodes and the art or profit angle is kind of how TV is these days (Hence no need for a TV license!) so I'm torn on that part.
BUT, a story is a story and the first simple lesson in that is that you need a beginning , a middle and an end. We got an odd beginning, but a beginning for sure. The whole middle part is very weird and possibly not working and I'm not expecting an end this season because there's not really been a middle yet and we've only three more episodes to go.
I'm against filler for filler's sake generally but having some useful filler which fills in details which will be important further down the line is an important part of having filler. All we know is that Rubi went with the Doctor at Christmas, their first adventure where he dlivers all the exposition about who he is and what he's all about is given in Space Babies. The Devil's Chord is next and that's around June/July in her personal chronology so 6 months have passed between them and she knows things about him like he's smart and doesn't run away. Then in Boom, at some point in Rubi's timeline, we're on a planet where she sees her first alien sky. Did this take place before The Devil's Chord or after it? Then we, as the audience, are watching a character which we barely know live out life with whatever personal experience with The Doctor under her belt and then it all magically disappears and then Dot and Bubble.
With the exception of The Church on Rubi Road we don't know much about either of them and the stakes in their living or dying aren't there.
So better storytelling is what's needed. If we are watching everything out of order (Which Moffet is known for doing but not Davis) then it had better all make sense by the end as this middle section isn't working as is.
There, that's that. I quite enjoyed that video Bobby and thought the Council person who ran it was pretty decent in their thoughts about it all. They mentioned some fiction which I don't know about but I think they understand what makes people invested in a story

I think what would solve all of this is to get Chibnall or Mark Gatiss back on the writing team. Their episodes were always very ‘standard’ and vanilla. Just kind of bland Doctor Who.

Yes Siggy, he is fantastic! He’s a fanboy (aren’t they all) so a bit more forgiving than most, but he still tries to remain objective and well rounded. The holy trinity of Who reviewers are (for me) Council of Geeks, AMTVWho and of course Tharries.

I can't say I've got a trinity of reviewers Bobby. i just take whatever is recommended by YouTube at the time but I like Harbo Wholmes, The Confused Adipose and Ellie from WhoCulture.
There are others too but I think these are the ones that stand out the most. I don't follow them much (Apart from Ellie) but they give wide enough thoughts about what they liked and don't like and it gives me an insight into folk of that age and what they think is decent without needing to wait for them to have the base knowledge of being human found out by them
Tharries is always a winner though, he just rocks the whole thing honestly and without pretence

AMTV Who actually has a few channels. He has his Who channel, another one where he talks about old TV idents and things like that and he has another where he talks about Now (That’s What I Call Music) compilation albums.
So I have Council of Geeks who is my age and talks about the show from a place of life experience, plus they’re coming at it from a trans perspective too which is interesting. AMTV is younger but feels older due to his extensive knowledge of niche UK things such as TV and idents of the past and other such. I don’t know how old Tharries is but he looks very young so I get that youth perspective from him. So with these three I have a good mix.
I’d love to make it a quartet though with maybe an older gent. One with a grey beard and lots of gravitas who remembers Doctor Who when Jon Pertwee and Jo Grant were the team. Then I’d have a lovely mix of people of all walks of life and their opinions who all share a common joy.

I think I may have seen AMTV doing idents and stuff Bobby
Maybe one or two of his NOW videos too.
There's a thinning haired American guy who talks about Doctor Who because he has a lifelong love of it (I think he said he was born in 1964) but I can't remember his name but he does long to camera talks and certainly knows a lot about the show over the years. I can't remember his name but it's something like Another Science Fiction Guy or something. He's got all the boxsets and speaks with authority on the matter. If you could get him to grow a beard he'd likely be the one you want
Another one is Cosmic Night! He's new to the scene and I couldn't tell you what he looks like but he does a pretty good explanation of why he likes the show and speaks with enough knowledge to make you think that perhaps he's a teacher or professor of something or other.
And Jessie Gender of course. And there's more too. Perhaps YouTube should just show me things that aren't Doctor Who related in suggestions but that's what it does for some reason.
Beats all those Angry Orange suggestions that used to show up though

I like the sound of the first one from your list, Siggy. The fact that he is American really swings it for me because it would then make the quartet 50/50 between British and American and I would really like that.
How do I make him grow a beard?
Today has been a hell of a day. Ricky has been trying to persuade me to flog him with a birch all day.

You could ask the Another Science Fiction Guy to grow a beard I suppose Bobby, or see if he can do one of those filter things that were all the rage a few years ago which just put on on him through computer magic.
Or you could just close your eyes and listen to him (It's all straight to camera stuff) and imagine he's got a beard.
As for Ricky and the birch flogging. That sounds like quite the adventure!

Yes I remember these filter things being popular. When I left my last job the staff all interviewed me with their phones and stuck fake beards on me and crowns on my head as I answered their questions and it was all so funny and joyful!
Ricky still wants to be punished for not picking up on the racism in Dot & Bubble and having to be told. He ways of punishing himself are becoming more and more severe.

You should stick Ricky onto Suno Bobby, their new full 4 minute songs all in one go (And extensions to older ones) just went live and is as free as ever with a whole bunch of new features expected out soon.
He can lament into music he's made and feel better for getting that pain out of his system.
I'm still not seeing the racism in that story though. I see people say they see it but I'm not sure that they understand what they're saying with that
Get him on Suno and either extend your favourites or make all new songs and within a month or so there'll be a whole bunch of extra tricks like singing your own song and getting your own music to go with it Bobby
Give it a go together!

Well I think that Suno needs to just give up trying to catch up with the big boys because they never ever will! Udio will always outshine them now in every way shape and indeed form. And I hear tell of a new boy on the block called Triggers joining the AI song generating crowd and Triggers promises to be even BETTER than UDIO!!!

I think they are al gearing up for a showdown Bobby
And that's good for us because the competition between them will give us better things to use to make music and hopefully keep it free (At least for fun use).
Suno will shortly be letting you upload any sound you want and using that as a means to start building your music on top of. It all seems very exciting

It’s just a magical time to be a song writer isn’t it Siggy.
What with Suna, Udio and soon Triggers all competing for our creative pieces of mastery and ALL wanting us to create them on their site.
Also are you living in Juan’s apartment whilst he’s away trying to find himself? I keep meaning to ask but always forget.

Well Juan managed to get himself a makeshift fixer upper flat Bobby, so I've been hanging out in his spare room while he's gone but I know where everything is so I don't need to worry about upsetting any applecarts in that regard
That whole Amazon buzzing everyone thing seems to have gone with the Christmas spirit and so it's pretty chill mostly.
I can't see anything on this 'Triggers' front of music generation Bobby but while looking for it I came across a whole bunch more. It seems like there's going to be so much music creation tools that I won't have to buy any more music, well apart from to get inspired by it and then do my own takes on that inspiration which sounds enough like it that I could sell mine to someone needing inspiration
Next up is video creation tools Bobby. Soon anything you can imagine can come to life and you can pair it with your music and fresh AI voices to say or sing what you want them to. Just write up a story and then a film or TV show can be made out of it which people here can buy and then bitch about
Really does seem like being a writer is the future if you want to create anything from this point forward and the AI is coming for that too so that isn't even a thing anymore and so screw writing!
Maybe we can get AI people too. That way we wouldn't need actual people and then there wouldn't be any wars, poverty or death
But yeah, if you could tell me where to find this 'Triggers' thing that's be swell
