This person, I believe, is being facetious, but this really is an excellent movie, in my opinion. One of my all time favorites. Definitely worth checking out, there are some real world themes that hit pretty close to home(depending on what you believe of our government). It's a thoughtful, often poetic action drama with great acting and impeccable dialogue.
In my opinion.

I have just seen it now, because it's the 5th of November and I loved it. It was so great and even more telling than ten years ago. You must see it.

okay I've seen it! and it was a great film! hell I don't follow Politics at all but this was miles better than what I anticipated. Hugo Weaving did a stellar performance playing as V

You're missing out on a few hours of entertainment, nothing more. The movie is full of clichs and overused quotes about liberalism. At times it's a bit cringe worthy even, but overall the movie is okay, comparable to a modern-day Zorro flick.
Watch if you're curious; it won't be a waste of time, although you shouldn't expect too much.

It's a great movie with a huge cult following. It's not anything amazingly life-changing, but it has some good ideas and fantastic acting
