Information for you,
Witty Kibitzer
, about the movies you were looking for!
For PAL, Region 2, HERE (look at the "Perfect partner"-offer for both of them together!):
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nobody-Knows-Yuya-Yagira/dp/B000936H32/ref=sr_ 1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1208380391&sr=8-1
And NTSC, Region 1, you can buy HERE:
http://www.amazon.com/Nobody-Knows-Yûya-Yagira/dp/B000A5044C/ref= sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1208380301&sr=1-1
http://www.amazon.com/About-Lily-Chou-Chou-Hayato-Ichihara/dp/B0006Z2N CC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1208379939&sr=1-1
I don't know where you live, but Amazon's an international company, very reliable, and has its own branch sites in Canada, US, UK, France, Germany, Japan and China. Once you sign in and create a password and an account, you can visit all the sites using the same identification - Japan being an exception.
Hope this helped!

u my friend are immediately my fav imdb user just for mentioning grave of the fireflies & nobody knows. Almost every other list on any of the imdb posts consists of often seen, well known, often in the top250 films. I am tired of seeing the same names being repeated again and again and again. U my friend r a breath of fresh air. -

Good question.
- Mysterious Skin (Had heard the title many times, but had no idea what it was about. I love to see good films that I don't know anything about. Just run into it on TV late at night, it was just the beggining. AMazing axperience).
- The Thin Red Line.
- Birdy.
- Heavenly Creatures.
- Brokeback Mountain.
- In the Name of the Father.
- Requiem for a Dream.
- American Beauty.
- Fight Club.
- Matrix.
- Dogville.
That I can think about in the moment.

Requiem for a Dream
Se7en
Donnie Darko

And my honorable mention would have to go to The Ring, even though I know I'm going to catch all sorts of hell for it. When I saw it the first time, I couldn't sleep for like a month afterwards, and I think that makes it count for this.
