this may sound stupid, but for awhile, i thought nell's hospital husband was the killer. always out on call. when they move in, a bunch of people on their floor get killed. the killer's fairly athletic. hubby has a reason not to move when nell asks him to.
then it turns out to be coffin baby. man, was i surprised.
    ps
i couldn't help thinking of chunk from the goonies when i saw coffin baby.

I thought it was Chas. I was kinda shocked, I was expecting the old "scary maintainence man isn't the killer, it's the old nice dude!" trick. But no, it was the poorer choice of the "killer is just some guy!" plot twist. I'm convinced all plot holes can be traced to the greedy desire to make a sequel. They were afraid that if they explained anything at all, they wouldn't have anything to put in the second one. They even listed the killer as coffin baby (worst killer name ever), and they never explicitly said who he was, so they can decide afterwards if they want the killer to be Lussman or not.
      Coffin Baby? Seriously, coffin baby?

I thought it was the husband too. Then I thought it was the nice old guy until I realised the killer was way too athletic to be him. I knew it wasn't the maintenance guy thought it was way obvious they were trying to make the audience think it was him that I knew instantly it wasn't. I was disappointed with the ending though and that he was just some random guy!

i thought it would be the husband or the doormanmostly trying to pick the most unlikely people. ned was an obvious red herring, and chas seemed to be too. i wasnt bothered when it turned out to not be a "who-dun-it" type thing though, actually made it more believable (as much as this movie could be lol)
There are too many mediocre things in life to deal with. Love shouldn't be one of them.

Yep, I thought it was the husband for a while too, until the stuff with the spell was revealed.

Though people had always disappeared, it would have been funny. LOL

Did anybody understand the ending? I thought the movie was pretty good until then, actually my picks for the killer were either Chaz, or the building manager. I didn't understand the coffin baby thing or the spells. I don't know if it is me but it did get weird at the end. BTW if anybody can go into detail on the killer or ending I would appreciate it.

7/10 only because the ending was bizarre
