i'm going with option 2)
although futuristic vision of new york was ok, kinda interesting
other than that i had no idea what was going on, plot? character motivations? story? what? no seriously, what?

Not sure what you mean by $50, but option 3 is what I would say. Liked the theatrical cut when it came out, like the extended cut even more. It's definitely an above average scifi flick.

I think I'm gonna go with 4) Well thought-out and deeply enjoyable sci-fi film with a story that's not meant for everyone.
