They shoulda ended it like this:
Viktor gets in the cab after getting the final autograph.
Cabbie: "Where to?"
Viktor: "Airport."
Cabbie: "Which one?"
Viktor: (Pause) "You mean there is more than one New York Airport?"
Cabbie: "Yeah, you got JFK and you got LaGuardia."
Viktor: (Pause) "Take me to LaGuardia."
Cut to camera outside of the cab, panning up above the street as the cab pulls away.
HARUMPH!

Lol that would've been pretty funny, but man this movie just makes me feel so happy and I think that might have turned me off a bit

I don't think he would want to go through LaGuardia. He's lived for quite some time on JFK, made friends there, even had a job there. I don't think he hates it that much.
