Qualitatively, it is NOT a very good film. It's stupidly unrealistic and falsely amusing..
But if you like Tom Hanks and if you like
            Forest Gump,
            I'd say it's worth a watch

So this is all you do, you ask people for their opinions because you're too lazy and stupid to have your own.

                I'm watching it now.
I'm finding it very entertaining and good.
I think it didn't do well in the box office because this is a movie you can watch at home.
I don't find it to be a sit in a movie theater for 2 hours kind of movie.
I don't let anyone hot-comb out my HAIRitage!

It's ridiculously schmaltzy and sentimental(like a lot of Spielberg flicks) but at the same time, it's also genuinely heart-warming and funny. It's too bad the latter has to come at the expense of an intelligent script, as the film does portray everything in a very black-and-white manner. Everyone who isn't Stanley Tucci in the film is a lovable goofball who has their own set of quirks and funny moments whereas Tucci's character may as well be the son of Nurse Ratched and Warren Samuel Norton. It also features a very poorly written romance between Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones, which ends on a weirdly downbeat note due to a stupid line about destiny or something. Still, if you take it at for what it's worth, it is quite entertaining and enjoyable. Just don't expect anything more than a schmaltzy feel-good movie.

                    It's okay.
It has a few moments of unbearable cheese and a few moments where Andrew Niccol's razor edged social commentary shines through from the presumable initial script. The central conflict is unique, there are some funny moments, and Tom Hanks and Stanley Tucci alone make the film as they are perfect.
The romance is as touch and go as the rest, but at least makes good use of dramatic irony.
