I just saw this movie on tv today for the first time and quite enjoyed it! I liked the plot and the acting (J Lo can act!), but most of all I liked that Western country ranch scenery! Does anyone know similar films in terms of scenery and plot, with a small love story included?

Brokeback Mountain had some great scenery of Wyoming. A lot of people don't like the film because of the controversial content, but as someone who lived at the base of the Wind River Mountain Range for 7 years, I have to say the scenery was true to life. It is a beautiful place. Ainar's ranch is typical of ranches in Wyoming, but it is filmed at the optimum season. They have a saying about seasons up there- early winter, mid winter, late winter and August. 😉 I left for Hawaii when it snowed on 4th of July, 1995. 😉 I still live in Hawaii, but some of the best people I have ever met, and some of the best times I have ever had were in Pinedale, Wyoming.

The scenery was a big part of why this movie worked for me.
But the cast did well (even JLo) and the story of loss was heartfelt.
Other movies that looked like this? Some of Clint Eastwood's Westerns have this kind of Rocky Mountain scenery.
        BB 😉
it is just in my opinion - imo -

The Horse Whisperer with Robert Redford. Starts out in New York then the story line moves to Montana. Scenic and romantic.

"Legends of the Fall" is set against beautiful Montana (although shot in Canada) background. There is a love story that involves all three of the brothers although the overall narrative itself is more epic than that.
"Dances With Wolves" also has fantastic landscape with a love story included. (South Dakota and Wyoming locations).
Also there are a number of great films from Australia that feature a similar sweeping vista with love stories - "The Man From Snowy River" and "Australia" as just two examples.
