actually pretty good. Yes, yes I know, it dont bleed it dont have real speed, all the "key things" that so many think needs to be in movies and tv, the stuff that basically doesnt let a person think and more. All the push of constant motion/sex/violence/ect so then those who keep putting stuff out so that they control what you think, then turn around saying you the consumer has less attention span than a goldfish, less than 8 seconds.
So much is being shown in so much detail with not much else for real story. Think no one wants to just lay outside and watch the clouds go by or real star gazing, and 24/7 planned out to the point where no wonder all ages are having much more mental breakdowns.
Yes, this movie was closer to the way Christopher Reeves (hope I spelled name right), that came out sometime after I was hatched (summer of 74) and do remember watching one of the not so good ones with friends at the theater round 10 or 11ish, but have only watched the 1st 2 more recent, may watch sometime the other 2 or 3 but who knows when.
Maybe because the way Brandon was allowed and able to play the role is what made it a better watch for me, and couple other friends of mine. Though couple others were more "eh" with a take or leave it with BR playing superman and the story, though couple of us liked the fact and spoilers for almost 11 yr old movie, sorry cant black out, that the child was his.
Out of the friends who liked this movie, all but one liked the CR movies and the tv show Lois and Clark the New (now how many yrs has it been, think 20 or 21 yrs since ended, so old now) Adventures of Superman, and this movie Superman returns better than Smallville, though was ok for the first half, after just went off or something but TW did an ok job of "growing" into superman, (best way to put it). The newer superman ones, I did not care for. HC does an ok superman but to me BR did better. Ok yes, CR was good and could be that BR was similar to CR, but the newer ones have lost something that made/makes Superman well Superman.
For now, already got sorta preachy and typed a lot, and yes my editing is still horrid. Think have to turn off computer for now, hate migraines, and well do wonder if anyone will outright disagree, and that is ok or maybe there are a few more out there like some of my friends and I who after re watching, still enjoy this movie.
Live life to be aliveand may your day be well or find one thing that gives you that little extra, even just a

I find it better than the entire DCEU.
