I get why is Lex having everything recorded because he is an egomaniac but I don't get it why he would when if the DA gets their hands on any recordings they would use it against him in court.
Why not use the chopper radio to call for help when stuck on the island or have a sat phone for such emergencies?
Not such a genius after all when I am smarter then he is.
