I actually enjoyed this, and then read that they shot down the idea of having Pinhead in the mix. Oh what could have been ! I think that would have been fun.

It would've been a decent cameo, and a fun moment. But I don't think the movie suffers from not having it there.
Remember, Pinhead wasn't supposed to be a main character. He was supposed to come on screen in the last few seconds and have one line. It would've been cool, but you can sympathise with the studio. It wasn't worth paying a lot of money to secure the rights to Pinhead, just for the sake of one joke at the end.

True, but still. Sorry, I just really enjoyed Doug Bradley as Pinhead. He really made me enjoy Pinhead.

I wasn't a big fan in the past. But I watched it recently, and loved it. This time there were no distractions about how I would judge the film. The production values are good, the acting okay, and the last scene in the lake totally cool. That's how a monster should run the show.I used to be a Michael Myers fan, but now I'm a Jason fan. As for Pinhead, I liked the first film the best, but didn't miss him here one bit.
And what fresh Hell is this?, Malory from Archer(Dorothy Parker)
