Whatever you think of the director Uwe Boll, he was one of the few who rightly disbelieved the official suicide version of Barschel's death in 1987. Boll was denied the usual public film funding, he financed his movie out of
his own pocket. Considering the underfunding, a few quality issues can be forgiven, I think.
Politician Barschel's exact cause of death remains
unknown
to this day.
If you claim it was murder, you're usually labeled a crazy conspiracy theorist.
One of our most well-known forensic scientists also believes it was murder.
