      Well, the show was expensive to make and didn't bring in much ratings. That's pretty much how.

        Well, the problem was that Fox didn't advertise the show correctly and also aired the episodes out of order and on Fridays. Then, they cancelled it with three unaired episodes.

            It's more successful now than it was when it first aired. Fox made a number of mistakes like airing the wrong episode first and putting it in a "death slot" for ratings. Sadly a lot of really great shows go out this way.
