Debussy or Satie?

Debussy has more great pieces than Satie, but I think that Satie's "Gymnopedies No. 1" outdoes all of Debussy's music. Even if I prefer that one piece to most of Debussy's music, Debussy still wins just for having a larger amount of great works.

Definitely Erik Satie, the father of ambient music! I feel his music is more innovative, diverse, atomospheric (at times), and evokes all emotions depending on the piece. As far as pianists who interpret Satie (I've hear them all), I would go with Jean-Yves Thibaudet; he plays Satie with perfect timing (many pianists play Gymnopdies robotically & too fast too slow) and great feeling.
