Then where is the talent?

Revolver wasn't that bad. RocknRolla is Guy Ritchie's best, although it IS hard to be Lock Stock. (Snatch is behind RocknRolla and Lock Stock for me, but still ahead of Revolver.) So I guess it isn't officially true considering A) RocknRolla was amazing and B) Revolver wasn't horrible in the first place.
I don't recognize this as an actual Guy Ritchie film, the same way I don't recognize the remake of Bad News Bears an actual Richard Linklater film. -

Why blame Madonna? She is a truly horrendous actress. But he didn't have to cast her (that's his fault and his alone). But honestly can't see much talent in any of his movies prior to and including this one-call it MTV directing!

Right. Madonna, the most famous woman in the world who has sold over 200 million records and established herself as THE pop icon of this generation, she must be sucking the talent out of her husband. (that would be sarcasm in case you didn't know) This movie is by no means a masterpiece, but Madonna is hardly to blame for that. To say that she is somehow sucking the talent out of her husband is idiotic.

She isn t an actor, but she did well in this case.
I never understood all the bad critics around "Cast away", cause it was a good movie.
Most of the critics were realy unfair !!! I cant believe what happened with this great writer and director that he couldnt make more movies and that he now has to make an london gangster movie again to come back into business.
The madonna movie was short, had a good story, good acting, great soundtrack 8/10 (8 instead 7 cause the ending is great). -

Well, Ritchie made Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels while he was single. He married her and made this. Then their relationship began to fade and he made Rocknrolla.
I'm so glad to see him back in normal life and in normal work. -

right, she is the Female Pop Icon of her generation, so why does she take a role like this? The film and her acting are so bad it could damage her legacy. Fortunatly, only a few thousand people watchedd this piece of crap. She should have stayed away from acting (with the exception of DS Susan).
