A lot of our humour is like that; making fun of our own country. Its rather relatable too. Summer Heights High pokes fun out our public school system, We Can Be Heroes at our national identity and in my opinion this show explores the lives of bogans to middle class society.

Many of the best comedies are people poking fun at themselves. I think australians have a great sense of humour and can laugh at themselves as well as others, which is why they aren't hated as other countries who can't seem to do the same (France, Italy etc).

This person is right, it's making fun of a subsection of the population of Australia (i.e. bogans).
Not everyone acts and dresses like that, it is a big country.
My message to you is that "you're an idiot if you think everyone in a country acts exactly the same"
