Classic. And possibly the only line that character has

That was a brilliant line, and I believe it's his only dialogue in the film. That's a line you'd hear in '40s films noir if they talked like that in movies then.
Who was the actor who said that? Was it Jim Marcus (credited here as Medical Examiner)?
