Thought that occurred to me after watching this movie for the millionth time: where is his parents during the Georgetown scholarship ceremony? This is such an important dinner that decides his future, and his folks are nowhere to be found. Danielle and his friends are the only ones that show up? Sounds like a serious plot hole.
