Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — The Girl Next Door

    DarlesChickens — 9 years ago(October 14, 2016 04:49 AM)

Heathers deals with envy and wrath, Mean Girls with greed, Clueless with vanity, whats left for The Girl Next Door to negotiate but lust? Most of Matthews motivations stem from a singular, prevailing line of thought, not without heavy suggestion from his two best friends, also teenagers in high school. And, what do teenage kids fantasize about more than some form of revenge, a commonality to all the aforementioned human sins. In this instance, the movie-length cat and mouse chase between Hirsch and Olyphant ends with Hirshs character convincingly beating his contrarian at his own game.
