I thought it would be weird to watch it (and a few of her other movies), but it wasn't really. She disappeared so well into her character that I didn't really think of her as Brittany Murphy.
But I don't think I'll ever be able to watch Uptown Girls or any of her other comedies. They're just too like her in real life, that it's really like watching Brittany Murphy, not whoever her character is.
Great actress, really underrated. They should make that line one of the top quotes in movies history. I'm sure if you asked anyone about that line they'd say BM or DSAW. It was a great line and the way she delivered it was superb.

It was a chilling line. I'll never forget the trailers when the movie first came out and hearing Brittany say that.
I understand what you mean about watching her comedies, now. I was actually able to watch "Just Married" when it was on tv recently and could enjoy it and appreciate her work. Maybe someday you can, too -

I posted elsewhere, before reading this, that the instant I saw the movie in the listings I flashed on this line from the original TV promos for the movie. A classic, still chilling, as it was even in the ad when it was completely out of context.
A sad and tragic loss.
