Incorrect goof about the wearing of helmets by police

This was in the "goofs" section:
The police officers arresting Bunny's brother are wearing motorcycle helmets even though they leave in a patrol car.
This was not a goof. Back in the 60's and into about the mid-70's, California policemen wore helmets even if they were assigned to patrol cars instead of motorcycles. You can see this in many movies filmed during that time period. -

You are correct; because of the turbulent times - anti-Vietnam war and civil rights protests - and the attacks on police officers that occured back them. Seems we have gone back to those times today, sadly. I lived through that period once, and here we go again.
