Yes there is some good acting considering the pace of the movie drags a little. I also cried. You've got a Doctor grieving the death of his pregnant wife (also a doctor) and her spirit trying to contact him to come and get the baby she had a year after her birth. And I guess he didn't go on the rafter trip with his friends.
