Can anyone confirm which Kauai waterfall it is at the end of the movie? I've read on sites that it is Wailua Falls, but from the pictures I've seen it looks like a lot higher that the 80 meter Wailua Falls, could it be Hanakapi'ai Falls? Or is actually two different waterfalls. Because the one he sees in the distance and the one up close could be different. There's no way the one he sees in the distance is Wailua Falls, it's not high enough. Does anyone know. I'm planning a trip there, and I need to find out. Thanks.

According to the director in his commentary that waterfall is entirely CGI!
In fact judging from a shot in the featurette that came with the DVD I saw the cliff wall it tumbled down appears to have been CGI as well. In reality there were low hills behind that village & its little pool. -

Well damn, that spoils the whole movie!!
I guess next you'll say that dragonfly paperweight didn't get out of the box all by itself, either!!
Pretty soon, all that actors are going to be doing is wearing one of those sensor suits in front of a blue screen.
Reminds me of a good quote about computers, those electronic devils!!
"The danger from computers is not that they will eventually get as smart as men, but we will meanwhile agree to meet them halfway."
