The script writers made Brosnan the fall guy for their terrible script.

This movie is TERRIBLE because of the ridiculous script. The writers, producers, director, all of these people are to blame.
Pierce Brosnan is just the actor. He's not in control of the script. He was given a script where there is an invisible car and an Ice Castle. How is this his fault?
As far as I am concerned, the people involved in the script of this film were cowards to allow Brosnan to take the fall for this film. They needed a "new Bond" they said.
In my opinion, Pierce Brosnan is still the best Bond ever. He is the most suave, handsome, alpha male Bond that has ever been. You can actually believe he can kick your butt, be an expert in weapons, and then seduce your girlfriend.
