    Bubonic Plague
    or
    The Black Death
wiped out 40 to 50% of the world's population before peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351.
Dr. Drew Pinksy appeared on FNC's Laura Ingraham's program to discuss the growing health crisis there. He said:
"Laura, there are 60,000 people defecating directly into our gutters every day. Urinating, defecating, bleeding. We have a complete breakdown of the basic needs of civilization in Los Angeles right now. We have the three prongs of airborne disease, tuberculosis is exploding, rodent-borne. We are one of the only cities in the country that doesn't have a rodent control program, and sanitation has broken down."
Dr. Pinksy told Ingraham that Typhus, like Bubonic Plague, which broke out in the city last year, is likely to return this year. Both diseases are spread among rats, and transferred to humans by fleas and poor sanitation.
And who governs this hot mess? Why
    Democrats,
    of course!
    Way to go, Dems!

I was watching this in the news yesterday I think.
There's definitely a resurgence of diseases which we thought were eradicated or that we would never see in our lifetime.
As if getting measles again isn't enough, and the outbreaks of Ebola,…there's tons of things popping up all over again.

Yep. When you build a better mouse trap, the mice get smarter too.
And in this country, almost exclusively in cities governed by Dems.

California dreaming is becoming a nightmare. I'll be keeping my distance from LA.

Sounds like a very wise decision to me, rosebud.

It took the great fire of London to end the plague in England.
During the Great Plague of London (1665-1666), the disease called the bubonic plague killed about 200,000 people in London, England. … The Great Fire of London, which happened on 2-3 September 1666, may have helped end the outbreak by killing many of the rats and fleas who were spreading the plague.
                    Disease: Bubonic plague epidemic
Spread by: Fleas who bit infected rats, then bit humans.
                    Dates: 1665-1666
                    Deaths: About 200,000 (1/4 of London's population

And they have plenty of fires in California so no problem.
