This is easily one of the all time WORST movies I have ever seen! Charlize Theron acts so poorly it's embarrassing and totally unbelievable! And Keanu Reeves shows once again that he can't act at all! He mailed this perfromance in as it is soooooo stereotypical, bland and unconvincing that you not only don't believe his performance or care at all about his character, but you wonderr why he even made this movie besides the paycheck! A totally predictable and LAME story line combined with HORRIBLE acting makes me question the intelligence of ANYBODY who even remotely liked this film!

i'm not sure what your problem is but Keanu was great (as always) in this film. and charlize was adorable as always. do you have a problem or something with a touching love story? maybe you just didnt like it because it didnt have the normal predictable hollywood ending?

First, I am a romantic at heart and enjoy a good love story as much as anyone. But ALL I needed to hear in your reply was "Keanu was great as always".
OH MY GOD, you are kidding, right? This idiot couldn't act his way into a community theater production! If not for his looks, his sky rocket to success in the god horrible "Bill & Ted", than plummet until he scored with the high tech, overly produced Matrix series, he would have been an absolute ZERO! His OVERLY monotone communication skills, his OVER acting at any resemblence of tension in the plot, or his REAL LIFE struggle with english and academics in general make him the rertard poster boy for high tech films. If you think Keanu is a good actor, they should automatically take back ALL IMDB priveledges from you!

Hmm, well to the OP you are entitled to your opinion but I found Keanu rather charming in this movie. Sure,the plot was pretty predictable but the film holds a very important message people should understand.

While I certainly wouldn't agree that Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure was a "god awful" movie, I also think that a comment like "Keanu was excellent, as always" is pretty much the ultimate sign of being dead inside.
Someone who's dead (on the inside, outside, or both) could at least relate to his lifelessness of his acting - as well as the amount of activity that appears to be going on in his brain when he delivers lines.
I'll admit that he's turned out decent performances in a handful of his movies (like Thumbsucker and My Own Private Idaho), but most of the time he's so awful that he can't even play a stoned idiot convincingly. -

I could see that a person did not like Sweet November. Tastes differ and all, but when you said Bill and Ted was horrible, then I knew it was YOUR intelligence that 's a problem, not the people who made or liked Sweet November. Bill and Ted is a different kind of movie. Keanu's performance in it was great, the script was just a little short of genius. So, it is you that got a problem - yup.

no you got the problem. i'm too tired to care about grammar. people can still understand even if the grammar or english language or spelling is incorrect. it's the substance that matters not the form. if to you Bill and Ted is trash - that says a lot about you. you are not worthy of me talking to you either, you can have your little pathetic opinion about bill and ted. you showed who you are and thats all that matters. And the thing is that people are entitled to having their opinions and if you did not like something you could express your opinion in a polite manner, but you came on the board and trashed it in rude and insulting manner. again that says a lot about you. about all i needed to know about you. see im not capitalizing and not using apostrophies oh my poor english and grammar skills im gonna cry now! dont bother replying either cause im blocking you and im not going to look for your respnose. so basically f off!

i happen to like this movie. now i don't like every movie Keanu or Charlize has been inbut i do like this one.
and just who do you believe is a good actor? kind of a harsh punishment to someone you don't even knowremoving IMDB privileges. you even misspelled privileges so uh, yeah

Oh dear. Keanu is and always has been a TERRIBLE actor. He couldn't act his way out of a cardboard box. That, in of itself, is enough to qualify this as a crappy movie. But the entire premise is idiotic, as well.
Charlize being "adorable" (really?) is not enough to carry this flaming garbage. -

your all halfwitsthe movie was excellent, and keanu, admittingly not the BEST actor, is good because he doesn't have to ACT to act..he just works.
And THERON was excellent, and you wouldn't have the oppurtunity to be romantic you goose - ppl have to like you first

I completely disagree, Keanu is charming in this role, I can admit he isnt up for an oscar anytime soon, but in this he comes off as charming and I think this was a wonderful heart wrenching story of how a man realized what love was. Theron was amazing.
for the record keanus best movies:
1:Matrix(1&2)(didnt really have to act, his monotonous ways worked for neo)
2: Replacements(he was funny, in a dull way)
3: Constantine
4: Sweet November
5: point break( i guess)
